Part-Time Social Media Manager

Sugar & Spice Apparel is an online boutique that strives to stay ahead of the trends and bring fashion forward and boho-style pieces to women across the U.S. We love being trendsetters and inspiring others to wear what they love! We are seeking a social media guru that is creative, passionate, hard-working, tech savvy and obsessed with fashion. The Social Media Manager will create video and photo content for the brand for Instagram and Tik Tok, as well as graphics for the website. The Social Media Manager will also work alongside the owner of Sugar & Spice Apparel.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Social Media creation and management
- Create videos for Tik Tok and Reels, showcasing Sugar & Spice Apparel clothing
- Style and take flat lay photos for Instagram
- Go live on Instagram with Sugar & Spice Apparel owner for new arrival drops
- Plan and schedule Tik Tok videos, Instagram Reels and Instagram posts
- Create posts that fit with our cohesive Instagram feed
- Reply to comments on Tik Tok and Instagram
- Create graphics on Canva for social media and website
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER REQUIREMENTS
- Must reside in or near Austin, Texas with the ability to commute to the office
- Tech savvy
- Active on social media and on top of social media trends
- Proficient in social media platforms such as Instagram and Tik Tok
- Proficient in Canva
- Creative and confident in front of the camera
- Strong interest in fashion and personal style
- Self-starter
- Strong work ethic
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Sophisticated written and verbal communication skills
- Person of integrity; trust-worthy
- Must have access to an updated mobile device, laptop and vehicle
- Ability to work remotely
